I used the pen tool for the headphones, and different brushes as my background I used bright contrary colors to pop against my blue background and blended them.

Brushes

I learned how to make my own brush as well as work with the brushes already provided. I learned how to change the spacing and the size and the shape and angle of the brush as well as the opacity.

I used three different shades of wood and added my text as a layer mask to the medium and dark wood. then with the rectangle marque tool I selected areas in my letters that I wanted to be lighter and desselected them.

Text Transformation

In this project I learned how to use the inner glow, gradient overlay, outer glow, and inner shadow tools. This gave the letters a softer look as if they were floating in the ocean.

Inner You

I learned how to place a picture of myself into another place so that it looked like I was somewhere I've never been before. I used to magnetic tool to cut myself out and place myself into the sidewalk picture and the same for the music note. I then used a vector mask to form the note to it's background and ofcourse the brush tool in order to create the connection between me and the note.
