I learned how to place a picture of myself into another place so that it looked like I was somewhere I've never been before. I used to magnetic tool to cut myself out and place myself into the sidewalk picture and the same for the music note. I then used a vector mask to form the note to it's background and ofcourse the brush tool in order to create the connection between me and the note.

In this tutorial I learned how to use shapes with the vector masks as well as combing pictures  and allowing them to look almost cut into eachother. I also learned how to use the opacity with my shapes and pictures to look more faded into one another.

Compositing With Silhouettes

In this project I learned how to work with multiple layers and cut them and place them into other layers. I also learned how to use the saturation/hue tool. As well as more practice with the layer mask.

Montage

With this project I learned how to combine multiple pictures and use the layer mask as well and the unmask brust tool to make a sort of blended collage.

With this project I learned how to use the selcetion key to select the background and delete it, which I found alot easier than selecting the object. I used my layers to work for me, I also learned how to blur the shadow and connect the two girls, with a shadow along the bottom.

Flyaway Hairs

I learned how to use the refine edge tool and various selection tools. The hardest was figuring out where to select and deselect and how to do so.

Veggie Head

                          In this tutorial I learned how to use the magic wand tool,  the various lasso tools (magnetic and polygonal), and the various marque tools. I also learned how to make my layers work for me and how to move and rotate in photoshop. The easiest was definetely the magnetic lasso tool and the rectangle marque tool. The hardest was learning how to rotate and remembering my keyboard short cuts.
