Farmers Insurance Logo

I chose to completely redesign their logo and have a bigger and smaller figure holing hands. These two figures could represent a family, or the insurance holding their customer's hand. Either way this gives a feeling of warmth and safety, which is what I felt this company, especially as an insurance should portray.

Personal Image Creation

In this Personal Image Creation project, I was given much liberty such as selecting colors and words and a picture of me. I chose the color yellow because yellow is known as a very happy bright color and I like to think it reflects my personality. I also chose to use circles and ovals in my background because circles reflects a happy, sensitive, and understanding personality. I carefully chose each word, which accurately describes a little bit of me. I also chose a picture of me that displayed my silly, but stylish side (although you can no longer see my outfit). Altogether I really enjoyed this project because it aloud me to describe myself in an artistic fun way.

Snowboard Project

In this assignment I learned where the patterns are, which I though as really cool. I also learned how to live trace something that looked almost scary and impossible. The easiest part was the shapes in the background. While doing this project I probably learned most about becoming more comfortable with using the opacity.

Basketball Player

In this assignment I learned how to make a cartoon, like this basketball player, out of lots of different shapes. I also learned how to use the Shape Builder tool and transperency for shadows. As well as the spiral tool for the hair. I also got to make this character my own by choosing red hair, and a different colored uniform.
